Professional Permanent Cosmetics (sm) Helps Women During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in
October
(Las Vegas) – With National Breast
Cancer Awareness Month quickly approaching in October, Professional Permanent Cosmetics (sm) Owner Mary Arnold, is helping to bring smiles
to the faces of breast cancer patients.
Professional Permanent Cosmetics (sm), which
specializes in corrective procedures and alternative uses of permanent
makeup, is offering half-off prices to all women who have undergone
mastectomies and would like to restore the appearance to their
nipple/areola areas.
“It makes quite a difference, both
physically and to one’s self esteem, to have this area restored to
closely match its previous appearance,” Arnold said. “It’s
traumatic for women to have this type of surgery, so we’re doing
everything we can to make their outlooks a little brighter.”
Breast Cancer Awareness Month was
created to help increase awareness of breast cancer issues, especially
the importance of early detection of breast cancer. According to
studies, an estimated 203,500 new cases of breast cancer are expected
among women in the United States this year alone.
“Breast cancer is an extremely
serious disease that affects thousands and thousands of women
annually,” Arnold said. “Taking precautionary measures is a
necessity in today’s world. And for those who have already undergone
mastectomies, I hope our permanent makeup will help them view their
situation differently.”
Arnold founded Professional Permanent Cosmetics (sm) in 1993, employing her years of experience as a nurse and
knowledge as a medical practice manager to create a quality permanent
makeup practice in the Las Vegas Valley.
She is a member of the Nevada State
Board of Nurses, the National Cosmetic Tattooing Association, and an
upcoming director for the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals,
which requires all members to meet the highest standards of safety and
technical ability. Active in the Las Vegas
