Professional Permanent Cosmetics (sm) Offers New Procedures

Permanent Makeup Artist Mary Arnold Introduces New Advanced Facial Contouring Procedure

(Las Vegas) – Individuals interested in permanent makeup now can choose from more options. Besides turning to permanent cosmetics to enhance eyes, lips, and eyebrows, women can now receive “Advanced Facial Contouring” with permanent blush and eyeshadow.

“Not many permanent cosmetics technicians offer this type of procedure because of the additional training necessary,” said Professional Permanent Cosmetics (sm) Owner Mary Arnold, who recently completed her training for facial contouring at a school in Portland. “I am pleased to provide this to my clients now as another way for them to enhance their beauty and features.”

Permanent makeup, or micro pigment implantation, is a tattooing process in which pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin. Arnold, a specialist in color adjustments, said the new procedure could be used to give a subtle look using natural color pigmentation to highlight the cheek and eye area. “The procedure uses a very diluted pigmentation and is applied to the natural structure of the cheek area,” she said. “This contours the face and accentuates cheeks naturally.”

For eyeshadow, the procedure can be done in light shades to bring out the eyes and make smaller eyes look larger. Or, a darker yet natural application can be applied to give eyes dimension. Arnold said the permanent make-up application is usually a couple shades darker to a client’s skin tone, giving them a healthy glow.

Although the procedure gives a highlighted, natural look, it is not available for all skin types. The best candidates are those with light skin tones. Also, people undergoing laser and facial resurfacing procedures are not good candidates because the procedures tend to remove the pigmentation from the skin.  Arnold is offering free consultations to anyone considering permanent facial contouring.
